Materials used on BisonBord:

  • Use acrylic paint:

Depending on your colour theme, use your choice of acrylic paint colour and a soft brush to cover the object. Can be used in conjunction with stamps to create patterns on the object as well as Helmar crackle.

  • Glitter:

This is a great activity for any girl’s birthday party. You can use the first letter of each little girl’s name and cover it with glitter according to the colour scheme.

  • Paper:

Extremely popular for weddings, you can use various different shapes and cover them in decorative paper – ranging from patterns to beautiful calligraphy. Remember to sand off the edges to create a rustic look.

  • Fabric:

Perfect for children’s name tags on bedroom doors, using spray adhesive to cover the BisonBoard and attach the fabric, you can use any type of material you prefer. Don’t forget to trim the fabric around the edges.

  • Mosaic tiles:

Found at any crafts store, you can purchase mosaic tiles in your specific colour using a ceramic tile adhesive to attach to the BisonBord. You can make your own mirror frames, picture frames or even decorative ornaments.

  • Glossy accents:

Perfect for creating buttons. Be sure to decorate your button first, with your choice of above-mentioned materials, before adding the Glossy Accents. This will make the BisonBord look like a real, glossy, decorative button.

  • Spray paint:

If you want to go plain for Christmas, you can spray BisonBord ornaments with a gold or silver spray and leave to dry. Be sure to spray evenly and give it a few minutes to set.

The possibilities are endless with such a versatile material, and the results are lasting. Happy crafting!
